The main reason we prefer supercritical CO₂ extraction is that it allows for the production of high-purity and controlled extracts without using alcohol or organic solvents. Since CO₂ can be completely removed from the product at the end of the process, it leaves no solvent residue. Operating at low temperatures helps preserve heat-sensitive active components, while precise control of pressure and temperature aids in obtaining target components more selectively.
